Re: Female Personal Hygiene
sorry to hear that sugar
i just got home from a 12hr shift. and i have to be at work tomorrow at 8am till 6. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.
in other news, heres something to put a smile on your faces
Quote:
The Washcloth.............
Ladies this has to be read, laughed at and passed on. There is not a woman alive today who won't crack up over this!
I was due for an appointment with the gynecologist later in the week.
Early one morning, I received a call from the doctor's office to tell me that I had been rescheduled for that morning at 9:30 am . I had only just packed everyone off to work and school, and it was already around 8:45am . The trip to his office took about 35 minutes, so I didn't have any time to spare.
As most women do, I like to take a little extra effort over hygiene when making such visits, but this time I wasn't going to be able to make the full effort. So, I rushed upstairs, threw off my pajamas, wet
the washcloth that was sitting next to the sink, and gave myself a quick wash in that area to make sure I was at least presentable. I threw the washcloth in the clothes basket, donned some clothes, hopped in the car and raced to my appointment.
I was in the waiting room for only a few minutes when I was called in. Knowing the procedure, as I'm sure you do, I hopped up on the table, looked over at the other side of the room and pretended that I was in Paris or some other place a million miles a way.
I was a little surprised when the doctor said, "My, we have made an extra effort this morning, haven't we?" I didn't respond.
After the appointment, I heaved a sigh of relief and went home. The rest of the day was normal . Some shopping, cleaning, cooking.
After school when my 6 year old daughter was playing, she called out from the bathroom, "Mommy, where's my washcloth?" I told her to get another one from the cupboard.
She replied, "No, I need the one that was here by the sink, it had all my glitter and sparkles saved inside it."
Never going back to that doctor ever

I took this one class and they taught us how to properly fill out applications, they told us you're supposed to write "negotiable".

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Spice is awesome at eye make-up.
She's posted pics before of her work. You all should post your pics and share your tips and stuff.

My picture is up on Facebook. I don't have any particular pics showcasing my eye makeup. And like I said before (in a few posts back), the last time I posted an eye pic on Islamica, I ended up banging my head between the car and the car door. My eyebrow was swollen and I almost had a concussion .
If you come on AIM or something, I'd be more than willing to share or you can just check out my pics on Facebook.

Fifa, feel free to share your AMZING tips and tricks.

I use Studio Fix that comes in a compact. I don't use concealer - I'm too broke and lazy (lol). If you're trying to really cover up acne scares etc, then you need to use a concealer with your foundation. Make sure before applying any makeup, you moisturize. Use a generous amount; it really makes a difference. Is there a Sephora or Ulta Beauty near you or any high end department store? I really think that you should take the time and shop around. Go to different places and try out different products. Take a friend with you and even a camera. I wasn't feeling Studio Fix when they first applied it. My sister was with me and she agreed that it did nothing for me. The color was all wrong. I went back, had someone else help me, and it made a difference. Maybe the liquid version of Studio Fix isn't all of that. Go in and try the powder. Have you tried any other brand of makeup besides MAC? Sephora and Ulta Beauty are good places to go try out different products. I would have someone help me and let them know exactly what you are looking for. Maybe something that's everyday, light weight, and you can apply yourself without having to know any special tricks. Good luck ! Let me know what product you end up getting or using.

I have the raccoon problem on the lower lid too. That's why I stopped using pencil and use liquid on the bottom. Its a very extreme and dramatic look though, but it looks nice. I only do it for "special" occasions.

Hahahahaha. I kind of agree with Mr. Sumiyia. I can appreciate the double color looks - yellow and blue etc, but I would never want it on myself. It looks a bit too drag queen for me. Plus, I don't think anyone should be doing a crazy heavy shadow look for everyday. I have a color that gives just a little sparkle to the eye, but I don't even use that everyday. I did do a smoky black eye today. I tested it out (see what my friends would say), since I want to do it tomorrow for a dawat. I definitely need a primer or something. Shadow creases can .

i don't wear eyeshadow on a daily basis, i don't even really wear make up anymore... and for special occasions i usually end up doing the same few colors... browns and golds..

Besides MAC, I've tried Nars, clinique, Make Up Forever, Bare Mineral, Cover Fx, covergirl and Too faced. So yea...we'll see what I try next.Thanks.
So I just tried liquid liner...is it not made for the inner lids?! I had to use my kohl. Otherwise I really like the look liquid liner gives you.
