The front right needs a new tire rod. The front left needs a new spindle and some other crap. The part that sucks the most is that I don't have a job, so all of these expenses fall on my dad's shoulder . And when I called my dad at work to tell him the amount, he was like "@#$%^&" (in English). It was so hard for me not to laugh. I asked the guy if he could lower the amount, and he told me that my dad mentioned that he got the number from one of my friends, so it was already a discounted amount. I believe him because when I asked the cost of an oil change he said 25, but charged me 12 bucks. Plus he was nice enough to drop me off on his way to Jummah prayers or else I'd be stuck at the garage until at least 6 pm.

What is the job you are applying for?!?
Edit: Never mind. You're applying for a job at a bookstore. Is it like Barnes and Noble or Borders? I would just call another location and just say I was interested in a job, but I needed to find out the starting amount first. May be they'll tell you over the phone and that can help you determine a reasonable amount.

I just called BN in White Marsh, which like 25 minutes from my house, they said if someone does not have any experience, they start off at minimum wage. I believe minimum wage is $6.25. Maybe you can ask for $6.50/6.75, but I don't know if that will work with no experience. You can usually get a raise after 6 months. I hope that helps!

Apply everywhere! Ask your friends if they have any openings at their jobs. That's how I got my first job. RAVE... LOL .

My eye makeup goes out after a couple of hours too......but recently I just started putting a heavy dose of it, so that even if it does disappear a little, I still have some left.......so far its worked fine w/out that gel stuff

I have some product by Clinique called Canvas that I usually put on before any eye makeup. I've been lazy lately, plus I usually prep by putting some Studio Fix directly to the lid, but I've been too lazy for that too.
