Sure, but it's common for straight men to hold hands and show affection to each other in Arab/desi culture.

holding hands. OKAY. Kiss and hug. OKAY. What I posted and had to see. NOT OKAY.
Anyways, I'm like SO super duper happy. ALH. Please pray everything works out. iA Khair.

Yeah but I can see why people dislike it. Men being overly affectionate in a society where underground homosexuality is prevalent is a little on the gay side

I used to live in Abu Dhabi and when I would watch the news, they would show the Kings greeting their guests by hugging/kissing........I thought it normal for Arabs because thats their way of showing affection
But it was hilarious when a foreigner was at the end of that affection....
Of course now, the "affection" might mean different

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Europeans kiss each other in greeting too - male / female, regardless. On both cheeks. funnily enough I don't think that's so weird. The holding hands thing is, and back in Bangladesh guys would actually walk around with their arms around each others necks
heba: you can't make out in the rain unless one of you is upside down in a Spidey costume. I would post pics but they're kind of haram.

asslaamu alaykum
I'm pretty sure most of the men here are bisexual, no man can twiddle with another's pinky and lok at him longingly and not be gay, ok? ok.

Not necessarily - it's just that you're looking at their cultural norms through the viewpoint of your own culture. I've seen the kind of thing you're talking about in Saudi and it's pretty standard. I mean, the king took George W. Bush's hand and was walking with him - that's just how they roll. In fact, the US military training materials say something like "You might see men holding hands - they are not gay" so that the US soldiers are aware.

Seriously.
Anyway, I need a good kick in the pants. I was going to the gym pretty regularly before I went on vacation. Now, I really just don't feel like it. Since October 22nd, I've been pretty sick. I had a really bad cold/cough until January. I never went to the doctor because I didn't have health insurance. My parents would be more than willing to pay out-of-pocket, but I just never said anything. I still feel like I'm sick. I'll wake up with a feeling of chest congestion and overall tiredness.
