Speaking of close friends: anyone have a friend who is so close that you can comfortably discuss anything in the world?

subhaAllah anyone who knows in real life will confirm the fact that ive a lot of friends around me i consider it a great blessings. al though my friends are my precious gems and always have their ears open to listen to me(as they do) and their arms open to hug me. they're so sweet wallah al hamdolilah.
but i still feel that they're familial things i can't discuss with them no matter how dear they're to me, and no matter how much i trust them. its beyond the comfort/trust level. its just something else thats missing.
so iwhen it comes to certain topics, i prefer to cry my heart out to my sister. i lowe it how we switch the role, when im complaining about things she becomes my commander in charge and disciplines me and when she is complaining/ranting/upset i become the guardian.hahahha (eventhough there is 6 years age difference btwn us)

awww.. i miss my sis too we were so tight but after i got married things of course changed. she cried so much on my wedding night and i cried every day after my weddng cuz i missed her so much. we did everything together, she'd be my date to the movies..lol.. aww good times we shared..and now she's in college and working too and is soo busy. i hardly get to talk to her and i miss her so much. we're also 6 years apart. but i must say that she's my bff. she is mature for her age and i was immature for my age so it worked out perfect. .. so happy i'm going home this weekend and cant wait to see everyone and of course my two lil babies i miss them so much.

aww. after I got married my sister went all weird on me. She was going through some stuff right before the wedding and I suppose I hadn't been there for her as much as I would have been ordinarily, because the wedding kind of took over. And I think she didn't want to make things difficult for me when I already had so much to think about. But after the wedding she was still kind of distant, and I was sad that she didn't talk to me the way she used to (oh and she went through a phase of hating my husband too ). Then I found out that she was worried that I told my husband everything - all she needed was reassurance that I would never have the bad taste to break her confidence like that. Once we sorted that out, thigns were OK. Despite living 5-6 hours apart, she'll call me whenever she wants to talk and vice versa. Whether we actually get hold of each other though, is another thing because we both run on such different schedules

i do
i have like 2 of them. and i mean EVERYTHING. it feels good being able to talk to someone that comfortably.
anyway, i feel like ive gotten over my sis. she is honestly SO different. she is not even close to being the same girl she was before marriage, and i dont think theres supposed to be such a drastic change in character when someone gets married. so i dont miss her and i dont feel like i wanna talk to her. even when she came to visit this summer it was weird.
im still godo with my other sis that got married, even though i can talk to her about less stuff cuz shes sooo religious now. and my bro is getting engaged, were tight too.
its just the sis in dubai.,..so annoying

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I'm trying to grow out my hair because I'm sick of having short hair, but my old haircut looks so ugly right now and my hands are itching to do something about it. I wanna grow it out long and THEN go get it fixed up. but I don't know if I can wait. is there anything I can do to get my hair to grow faster??

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
i have no sister.
but my BFF and i are tight.
except we're always like, if we were sisters, we'd kill each other..cuz we could never live together.
but then sometimes we're like OMG cuz we complement each other
but anyways it's not like we'd ever live together anyway..she got married! mashaAllah. her husbands a cool guy. i gave him a hard time at their wedding tho after their photo shoot, i had to help her put her shoes back on cuz they had her sit on the floor..then i got her up and i was holding her hand and walking with her..then i saw him and i was like UM HELLO. you're supposed to do this..and he was like. GOSH i'm trying you know..you're just a little posessive.
so then i backed off

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
My hair's like falling out; you think multivitamins will help me too?
My grandma says it's 'cause I don't put oil in it and I should let her do that for me, twice a week.
Also, I'm lucky 'cause I have three friends who I can tell anything and everything to and who I love love love (Spice is one of them ) even though I don't see one of them too often and one sister and one cousin like that. And also my big brother. Alhamdulillah.
Also, my aunt used to live with us and she's like my big sister but then she got married and things have been weird. Nobody really likes | |
