Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Sugar,Haven't tried it but my sister's coworker has. She said it works pretty good, but you have to wear a diaper sometimes. Especially when you eat the "wrong" meal.
SOI have cystic acne AND little bumps that are from under the skin. I was told exfoliating would get rid of them...but it's not working. And the big zits hurt. Can't even lay down properly. iA Khair.

never taken it..never will..wouldnt ever recommend it to anyone.
like displaced said, it blocks fat absorption. uh, it comes out when you go to the bathroom. and you feel pretty disgusting basically.
there are good fats that you would end up being deprived of if you were to take it because if you go past a certain amount of fat per meal, it'll go nuts and you might even actually have an accident in public. pretty embarassing.
for a lot of people it seems to work well psychologically. trains them to limit fat intake per meal. and if they have an accident (and ive read some internet reviews..disgusting like i said) they become so deathly scared of eating more fat than the recommend per meal intake with alli, that they start focusing on what they eat..
but that doesnt really mean that they eat the right fat either..

I'd also like to know the impact of it on fat-soluble vitamins.
I'm remembering a tv ad for a diet pill a few years ago. the woman said "side effects may include gas with fatty discharge" like that's not a big deal.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
it's very interesting that a lot of people haven't heard of it. i dont just mean online but offline as well. i dont think it's been marketed that well. but i dont really watch tv so who knows.
in the beginning it was hyped because its FDA approved but i think the hype was very shortlived

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
i hate PMSing. i turn into the BIGGEST biatch known to mankind and i hate everything and everyone.
like today, i woke up and cleaned like a MAD WOMAN. and i was like DEMANDING everyone to get out of my way..cuz i cant clean right otherwise. and id get annoyed if my bro kept walking through the areas i was dusting then vaccuming..cuz i was like, UR TRANSPORTING THE DUST AHHHHH stop stop stop
i became all anal retentive/OCD
*sigh*
and then i went through this 2 hr phase where i basically thought no one can clean as well as me. my brother was kind enough to vaccum a certain area of the living room yesterday..but i sat there and moved EVERYTHING ..the furniture..rugs...heavy ass coffee table. and iw as basically vaccuming and dusting underneathe. my bro walks by and is like, what're you doing? i did that yesterday!! and im like all snapping cuz OBVIOUSLY he didnt do a good enough job..there was still crap everywhere
and so basically. i was overwhelmed but didnt want anyones help either..cuz they cant do it as well as me. and then i wanted to cry from frustration for a while just thinking abotu how everything was DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY and i was like WTF is wrong with me? then i had weird cravings and cramps and realized im PMSing.
the end for now.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I've never heard of it either and that sounds gross. Having to wear a diaper. Why do that to yourself?
Displaced, Salika: Yeaaaah... well, this stuff is working for me so far. So let's see how it goes. If it doesn't work out, what should I do though?? Go to a homeopathic doctor? My mom's like "It's just teenage acne; it'll go away." And I'm like "I'm not a teen anymore!"
Sal: Feel better.
sumiyia: InshaAllah khair.
