also, what kind of influence would it be on the kids? What would stop them from taking on smoking, if daddy's doing it then why can't they?

smoking is a bad habit but so is picking your nose..if you're interested in him, ask him to quit..even he knows how harmful it is..not to mention unattractive.
if he drank it would be a different story..but it it depends on your view of smoking in islam.

But then again, why is it after all that, Islam is still the fastest growing religion in the world?

i agree with the sentiment, but i think having a parent who is a smoker can be a deterrant too. my dad has been a heavy smoker as long as i can remember and my siblings and i think its disgusting and would never smoke and end up addicted and coughing like my dad. guess it depends though, who knows.

it would suck to be allergic to your potential husband
'hey! can you just sit in the audience when we get married? i dont think i can stay alive next to you'
i would however marry a guy if he was smokin' hot. hardyyyyyyy har har

I completely agree with this sentiment , although I had still try my best to get him off it......I dislike not just the smell, but I get too sensitive and start coughing real bad because I'm unable to breathe

no way!
smoking just gets on my last nerves. I can't *stand* being anywhere near people who smoke.

Smokers are disgusting. It's just another form of suicide if you ask me.
