Re: Female Personal Hygiene
yesterday i randomly had this crazy urge to add yet another major to my 2 existant majors (a subject that really interests me) and become a career driven woman who never spends time at home and never intends to
hella weird. i just wanted to do it all of a sudden and had no idea why i was feeling that way. like an earthquake..and the aftershocks i can still feel.

plus, i think having kids will ruin my life. i like to do random, spontaneous things, and if ihave a kid i cant. i feel like it totally will inhibit me from doing what i want, and i am pretty selfish, so i dont want anything to stop me from doing what i want. i want to travel. and i want to work. if i have kids ill feel like my 50,000$ spent on university will go to waste.

Im working on a theory that all major drama's between friends in some way ties back to the opposite sex.

That's sadly true.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
i'm very similar to sally. i feel like i've got the friends that i need. it takes too long to get to the level of friendship that i have now and i dont want to have to go through it all over again. surprisingly, i've never had a fight with any of my friends, ever, alhamdulillah. i pick 'em well

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I can relate to whoever said they don't care enough to make new friends. I just moved to a new city and I've made ZERO effort to really make friends because I just don't care.

that's a ridiculous generalization. i've never ever had drama with my close friends over the opposite sex and know a lot of similar people.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I don't want kids either. I mean, eventually sure, but not for a long time still.
I want to live my life before I settle down and become all responsible. I mean, I'm not irresponsible now, but you are young only once. And kids are a huuuuge responsibility.
My parents talk about retiring early to Pakistan though and maybe doing the snowbird thing and spending six months there and six here. So in that case, they'd leave my baby brother with me. I heart him and would totally become his legal guardian. He's the cutest accesory ever, heh. Of course he won't be so cute once he's older and more annoying, but still...

Personally, I would love to start a family within a year of getting married, Inshallah
I've this "plan" of having kids early because when I'm like 40-45, the oldest would be around the 20's and I think thats uber cool.....don't ask me my reasons Although, I'm as well terrified of childbirth, but then thats kinda like no pain, no gain
But maybe you would like to have kids when you're older and more wiser and when you've "settled" down in life...no?
I'm not so career oriented and I'm not so traditional - a balance of both, if you will
Note: A nice self-reflection of all the FPH girls
