Why a nun can be covered from head to toe and she's respected for devoting herself to God, but then a Muslimah does that, she's considered "oppressed"? When a Christian kills someone, religion is not mentioned, (i.e Ireland and the IRA) But when a Muslim is charged with a crime, it's Islam that goes to trial? But then again, why is it after all that, Islam is still the fastest growing religion in the world?

In other news, I just turned down a job offer from the Masjid elementary school. I feel like a complete *******  . I have my reasons though... but still. I feel like a jerk.

i actually just graduated with a bachelor's in elementary education

She doesn't care and neither do I, Alhumdulillah. I really closed that chapter of life especially since all I wanted was to be able to forgive her. And with the grace of Allah, I was able to do so. Every time I see her or whatever, I'm cordial, but I can't have a normal conversation with her. I really just wish I didn't have to still see her. I don't have anything against her, but I just don't like her anymore. Its kind of like if you met someone for the first time you can like them or dislike them. I just dislike her, no hate nothing else...

That's cool. I didn't do elementary. I wanted the opportunity to teach kindergarten and severely handicapped myself by going for ECED, but I love it

mashallah that's great. i'm actually working right now.., with mlp kids right now..multiple learning disorders. some have behavior problems, autism, one has downs, and some have low brain funtion, as well as attention problems.
