hey you know what they say, better late than never. If you guys were really close ( and i assume u were since she was ur best friend ), I'd make the effort to talk things out. No problem. hope things work out for you.

Yup! Now there's a lot of tension between my ex-best friend and I. It takes a lot of self restraint when I see her and she makes a cheeky comment to me. I hate her guts and I wish I never knew her. She has no idea why I started to dislike her, but our other friends are aware of the situation.

People change and sometimes its honestly just not worth it. Especially when the person you're dealing with stabbed you in the back, betrayed your trust and is all around immature.

See with me it's the other way around. I apparently wasn't a good enough friend. But a person can only do so much, right?!

Have some self respect, really. You don't need to beg for someone's friendship. Friendship is a two-way street. In those three months, did you try making any effort? And if you did, were your attempts ignored? Did she attempt any contact? If you answered no to any of those questions, then I suggest emailing her to see what's up. Then again, if she let 3 months pass, saying nothing to you, how much does she value you as a friend?

You feel that way because you're a good friend. It took me a really, really long time to forgive her. It took at least a year or two for me to even repeat to any of my friends what she did to me. After that, I begged Allah Swt so many times to help me forgive her. And Alhumdulillah, when I was ready, I was able to. I asked Allah Swt to clear my heart of hate and anger. I got up after praying and Alhumdulillah, Alhumdulillah I really felt that my heart was lighter and there was a huge weight lifted off of me.
