Well back home they usually put a seperate cloth over the bed sheets, and if there's blood on it in the morning, than there's another party, if not than well if the husband doesn't mind it's okay, but no party.

A Bio Professor told me that Hymens (which is a fleshy "barrier" that breaks with 1st time intercourse) can actually break or tear for other reasons which makes it an unreliable source of determining whether a woman is indeed a virgen, what about the groom.....Is there such fuss in whether he is or is'nt a virgen?!?

Yeah, and everyone knows what married people do, else how would they have kids? That doesn't mean it needs to be totally publicized in front of the whole village! That's like one step away from putting a camera in the room and broadcasting. It's yucky.

anyone here from UAE? Specifically Abu Dhabi?
We might move there for a few months inshaAllah but I'm kinda freaked out b/c I can't speak Arabic and I don't know anyone there and have no relatives either.. help!
