Me: Ya, mommy said she was gonna get the pictures, but I haven't ordered them yet. Why?
Daddy: Well, do you have any other pictures?
Me: You know I shyaway from the camera.
Daddy: Why? Did you get ugly or something?
Me: I'm not ugly.
Daddy: Then why don't you take pictures?

Then, when he came home, he said he wanted a proof, but he won't tell me why. I forbade him from showing it to any strange men. That should wipe out all the guys around here.

is it severe? my doctor didn't know what it was. i had to google random phrases relating to rough skin until i stumbled across the term 'keratosis pilaris.' i talked to the doc about it and she's like yeah, that's it!! that's what it's called!!

noways! how bad was it? what method of exfoliation did you employ?
i found a lot of interesting stuff here: Keratosis Pilaris Community Forums - Powered by vBulletin
one female on that forum happened to be diagnosed with candida. her naturopathic doctor told her there was a link between the candida and food sensitivities she wasn't even aware she had. in the process of killing off her candida and eliminating the food sensitivities, her keratosis pilaris disappeared aswell. so other women from the forum decided to get tested for candida, and the majority of them discovered they either had candida, or some form of yeast infection or some stomach problem or another. it's really fascinating stuff, check it out.

haha my doc was like "uhh it looks like your hair follicles are just inflamed. that's weird. i'm sure it'll die down." i find, though, that if i wax and use an anti-acne body wash on those areas, it's not nearly as bad. nothing kills it, though (except sunlight, in all honesty -- i really didn't have this problem when i wore short sleeves).
i'll try the exfoliation/aveeno thing, though. next time i go to the doc, i might bring up the candida thing. definitely interesting, thanks for the heads up

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
So basically... No. 2s, No. 5s and 7s (Nalgenes) are okay?
And if you're gonna use anything else, then don't reuse?

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
One of my fellow interviewees yesterday had the most flawless skin I've seen in a long time - and it was one of the guys!
My interviewer told me that my application sucked, I wasn't unique, and that I wasn't "selling myself" very well - but that I would still probably be ranked quite highly.
