Tell me about it. But hang in there Sal.

Insha'Allah it'll turn out for the best.

It's worse when you're leading a pretty normal life and you have a few marriage proposals pop out of nowhere, and you don't know what to do.

Assalamu Alaikum,

I have the opposite problem. Two of my sisters (16 and 18) are dying to get married and thus far seem to be trying very hard to make that happen...

Allah Subhanawatala.

SAYINGS (HADITH) OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD (Sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam)
The one who disdains from prayers will receive Fifteen punishments from
Allah.

Six punishments in this lifetime
Three while dying
Three in the grave &
Three on the Day of Judgment.

THE SIX PUNISHMENTS OF LIFE:
1. Allah takes away blessings from his age (makes his life misfortunate)
2.Allah does not accept his plea (Dua's)
3.Allah erases the features of good people from his face.
4.He will be detested by all creatures on earth.
5.Allah does not award him for his good deeds. (No thawab)
6.He will not be included in the Dua's of good people.

THE THREE PUNISHMENTS WHILE DYING:
1. He dies humiliated.
2. He dies hungry.
3. He dies thirsty. Even if he drinks the water of all seas he will still be thirsty.

THE THREE PUNISHMENTS IN THE GRAVE:
1. Allah tightens his grave until his chest ribs come over each other.
2. Allah pours on him fire with embers.
3. Allah sets on him a snake called 'the brave', 'the bold' which hits Him
from morning until afternoon for leaving Fajr prayer, from the afternoon
until Asr for leaving Dhuhr prayer and so on. With each strike he sinks 70
yards under the ground.

THE THREE PUNISHMENTS ON THE DAY OF JUDGMENT:
1. Allah sends who would accompany him to hell pulling him on the face.
2. Allah gives him an angry look that makes the flesh of his face fall
down.
3. Allah judges him strictly and orders him to be thrown in hell.
Note: If you get this copy, please make copies of it and distribute them
among all Muslims. You will be earning a Reward as well as helping to show
your brothers and sisters the Right Path. May Allah give guidance to all of
us.
AAMEEN!!!!!!!

THOSE WHO DO NOT SAY THEIR PRAYERS OF:
FAJAR: the glow of their face is taken away.
ZOHAR: the blessing of their income is taken away.
ASAR: the strength of their body is taken away.
MAGHRIB: they are not benefacted by their children.
ISHA: the peace of their sleep is taken away.

eep. that was *exactly* what i was looking for, but while searching for sources to those hadith and i came upon this:

The following is an outright fabrication against Allah's Messenger (saw). The hadith master Hafidh Ibn Hajar (d.852H) described it as "manifest falsehood" (Lisan al-Mizan, 5/pp.295-297). Similarly, Shaykh Abdul Aziz ibn Baz - the former Grand Mufti of the Saudi Arabia - said in his 'Fatawaa' (1/p.97) in reference to this hadith: "It is compulsory on a person who finds a paper containing this hadith that he burns it, and warns anyone he finds spreading this narration (i.e. not to spread it), in order to safeguard the Sunnah of the Prophet from the lies of the liars (who fabricated this hadith)".

more here: praying and the punishment for not [Archive] - Ummah.com - Muslim Forum

the part about the fajr, dhuhr, etc, specifically, however, aren't mentioned in that email. HOWEVER, i've seen that part tacked on to the forward a lot so i'm gonna assume it's false as well (rather than risk passing on false hadith).

Allahu alim

JazakAllah khair though, girls. i wouldn't have found out this was false without your help. may Allah swt reward you.

Hullo matey's..

I couldn't help but nose around that website and found something which has got me wondering about it's authenticity.. in it's list of hoaxes is Jermaine Jacksons conversion to Islam story.. Jermain Jackson's Conversion to Islam

However, JJ is now Muslim Alhumdulillah.. so how accurate is this website at all??

Or maybe it was accurate at the time and JJ converted like a month later and at the time of the online release it was merely rumours??

Man, sometimes I feel so scared coz I never know to what extent Allah SWT will accept our intentions and to what extent we have to leave it be and say "I tried my best in trying to seek the truth.."

i also just hate and despise being PITIED and it really really feels like when these people talk about marriage to me i feel like theyre pitying me because im single.. like im really glad you're happy in a relationship but please for the love of God, dont make me feel like crap..

like i said id ont mind being single.

i never make people feel weird about being married, even if theyre young or old or whatever..so dont understand why people are so into it

also people with not that happy marriages will also talk to you in depth about how you should get married and im like, what exactly do you want me to look forward to, if you had such a bad marriage? jeez. i mean i know it sounds offensive but aaah

I know wot u mean

It's like all my friends are accounted for, happy blah blah and I'm sitting here arguing with my parents all the tme..

It's the external comments/others that really puts the pressure on parents sometimes.. like "oh, so when is she gettin married".. no offence, but why is that even an issue to you?...
MYOB!!

Oh, and it's the worse when these very same aunty's treat their daughters like ickle teeny weeny fairy princesses even once they hit 20/21

"Freakin grow up, the lot of ya!"

Yes, I have been offered marriage, but I don't like you so get lost, thank you, please do not come again..

That does not mean I am any better than your son or you, I just don't wanna get married right now. Sod off.

Thats not true? I dont remember reading anywhere on the paper that said this was a hadith.......more like guidelines, trying to guide people to pray for worldly/hereafter comforts/rewards.

Well I would think its a good incentive to get someone to start praying, at least

So I'm guessing I dont need to post the translation then?
