i love my new place alhamdulillah!! its neat and clean and there's plenty of storage space and i'm decorating it and it looks soooo nice masha'allah!! only drawback is the lack of natural lighting... energy efficient bulbs are fabulous though
oh also... i like my husband
all of the above totally makes up for a crappy eid.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
things i learned today which i didnot know before or had some doubts. i just came from a bridal shower
1) I am FAT the mirror was lying to me all along
2) no purple eye shadow? blue+ red makes a perfect match with your purple salwar kameez, thanks to my art class
3) curly hair looks much better on me than straight hair
4) half a bangs makes me look stupid
5) when u look good, girls get jealous and dont even say hi
6) blush is not made for my skin, stick with bronzer and please dont even go near a blush
7) if u got no time to wax your arms, just turn your duppatta into a shawl...tie two knots on your wrist band to keep it into place
8) i need to go on a diet..did i mention im fat?

It's BORING having your own place. But maybe i'm saying that coz i haven't had to live with inlaws as often. I have to say i like having my mum in law around. Little said about the father in law the better
But I get EVER so bored.

Isn't it funny how Allah (swt) has made us all so different? I can't imagine NOT having my own place

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
i was very intimidated of the idea of having my own place. i've never lived on my own before and i wasn't sure how i'll manage. but it's been great alhumdulillah. i miss my parents/parents-in-law but they're close by and i do get to see them on a regular basis and that's great too, alhumdulillah.
in a few years, inshaAllah, we're gonna move to his parent's place (we get to add/design our own space!) and i think it's great for kids to be around their grandparents and vice versa so i'm excited about that too... i think it's good to have all kinds of living experiences. makes me appreciate what i have and also what i don't have.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Hypothetically speaking, I cant imagine living with my inlaws, I'd feel my privacy is intruded.. Id feel intimated then we'd have to go out more often to make up for those special moments... having said that i still feel my p inlaw have rights over us to able to take care of them (if they can't take of themselves)

If she's not staying forever than surely you can tolerate anything. In one ear and out the other, especially if your husband is supportive | |
