Yeah, but "real surgeons" don't know what to do in there. Anytime you have something that has anything to do with a pregnant woman or approaches that general area, you're going to call the OB/GYN to do it because that's their training.

uh... so has any one modeled at a fashion show?

the women's committee at the islamic center is hosting one and i got asked to model. it's ladies only, i'm told. i'm a bit tempted. i got asked once before in college but it was a local agency and kinda haraam. but this one seems kosher (no cameras, i hope!).

should i do it? got tips? i can try to watch ANTM and practice walking but i might still trip n fall and make a fool of myself. it'd be fun. should i do it?

True, most surgeons rag on ob/gyns surgical skills, but wouldn't dare approach that area with a knife.

Although, having worked with both, I do have to say that many ob/gyns scare the bejeezus out of me. They don't seem to have heard of hemostasis (stop the bleeding!) or Halstead's other principles yet. They're the last cowboys of the OR.

me and my friends did a fashion show at my undergrad college. it was great. we rock. only girls, I even got one of the female security officers at our school to come gaurd the door so no guy would sneak in

pretty much we had different themes, aka different countries and cultures. we had girls from all over the region provide clothes from different countries and even different parts of the US and had the girls model them as they walked down the stage or runway with music from that region overhead. in other words... desi clothes.. desi music, arab clothes... arab music, american clothes... american music, malaysian clothes...malaysian music, wedding clothes.. wedding music. As i write this, we should have included spanish/latin, east asian, etc.

what we also did was a miss universe, so every few skits and dances (which were also from around the world) we would introduce a girl from around the world.... miss latin america won

now the younger girls are taking over and doing stuff.. its cool
