Re: Female Personal Hygiene

congrats to all you ladies with good news!
i'm about to take my second final.. I only have two more next week.
and this winter break is going to be CRAZY! inshAllah, I have 4 weddings to attend. what sucks is that a few of the events are overlapping so i have to pick one or two.
other than that, college has taken over my life, i just applied to this accounting program that i hope i get into to, AND i need to find an internship very soon!

hmm, I seem to remember an old post of yours containing something about how, "it's not a boy.." and a few months later, BAM!, sumiyia's engagement.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
hmm...i think i should take a hiatus from islamica as well....I guess there is life beyond my PC.
QUESTION: How would you deal with a second mother?! I want to go stay with my dad for a little bit, but I'm not sure if I could handle his wife. Suggestions, advise!?

My dad had had 2 wives since he divorced my mom, and my mom had married again after divorcing my dad. How do I deal with my step-parents:
I treat them with the kind of respect and deference I would treat my own mother. I try and consider her feelings, how strange it must be to suddenly have to interact with children who are not hers. I am polite with her, and try to ignore as much as possible those things which irritate me. If you can't ignore it, then you have to sit down with her and talk to her very diplomatically, with a tone of reconciliation. The last thing you want is to butt heads with attitudes (from you) of "well, I was here first, I've been here longer so I'm more important" and (from her) "well I'm here now honey, and like it or leave it cuz I'm not gunna leave, and I can make your dad kick you out any time"
It's tough. I must say I get a long much better with my step dad than my step mom.
