aww, thanks everyone.  I have to wait to finish repping people, but I'll get around to it, iA.
and in other news, last night I made fajitas with bell peppers and onions and salsa and guacamole and it was the best ever.  unfortunately, there aren't any leftovers for lunch.

The Oprah Winfrey Show is producing an upcoming special in which children from different religions and ethnic backgrounds will be reading the "I have a dream" speech to commemorate MLK day. A friend of mine works as a producer on the show and they contacted me this week asking for help in identifying a "young, dynamic Muslim girl" around the age of 10. They would like her to wear a hijab and this show will be taped at the Washington monument on December 4. If you are interested in submitting your daughter or someone you know as a candidate, please email me by Monday 11/19.

congrats to all you ladies with good news!
i'm about to take my second final..  I only have two more next week.
and this winter break is going to be CRAZY! inshAllah, I have 4 weddings to attend. what sucks is that a few of the events are overlapping so i have to pick one or two.
other than that, college has taken over my life, i just applied to this accounting program that i hope i get into to, AND i need to find an internship very soon! |
