so i got farah's msg also... here's whats going on in my life

1. MAS convention - i've been employed by MAS to coordinate the convention and have been working for almost two months now. it is SOOOOO RIDICULOUSLY STRESSFULLLLLLLL!!! alhamdulillah its over now and we're just doing some post convention wrap up but i've never been so over worked and annoyed and stressed and exhausted and irritated in my life!

2. trying to find apartments is a pain in the asssssss!!! everytime we find the right place, we either get rejected cuz the landlord sees "muhammad" in the application, or the landloard rents it out to someone else after promising that it'd be ours, or some other disastrous thing happens leaving us back to square one. i'm driving out to SD tomorrow to try and get something done on the apartment front. please pray that everything goes well

3. the husband is having major trouble finding a job and resources are beginning to dwindle. please keep us in your prayers and pray that he gets a job real real soon. alhamdulillah i can't complain too much because since we've gotten engaged and married, some things have gotten better. he's no longer being deported and he actually got his work permit so alhamdulillah alhamdulillah. but still, a job would be nice

4. i did some serious apartment shopping (all on gift cards courtesy of my wedding alhamdulillah). sales are so awesome we've got everything now that needs to go into our apartment except for (a) an apartment!!! and (b) a job to pay for the apartment!!! du'aas please!!!

5. my classes are starting again real soon and i'm soooooo nervous!! please pray that i don't get kicked out of school or something cuz i suck at life.

andddddddd 6. i lost weight i am now back to my pre-wedding weight/measurements its probably because of the stress though so iono.. i hope it stays off though

I went to a "red carpet" themed bridal shower this past weekend and was voted the best dressed. I feel all special now.

I lived happily in NJ, but a month ago moved to Northern Virginia cuz of hubby's job. Yea we're all alone down here
Going through major stress cuz of "some" relatives..Are there any duas out there for financial dilemmas?

and moving to DC/VA area until September iA.
and then i'm moving to long island.
my mom and bro are in paki shopping for me.

Yeah, so I got Farahs message too. I haven't been away as long as some of others, but I still don't post as much.

There isn't anything as interesing happening at my end. No, I'm not getting married yet, etc. I've been extra busy with School/Work and sorting out other things, I don't get enough time for the Internet anymore. I've re-joined the Gym and that takes up my free time and I'm trying to adjust my Islamic classes into my schedule. Trying to adjust the deen and the dunya, heh. I'm trying to learn how to cook properly, not just the basic stuff and inshallah I hope I get somewhere.

Other then that, everything is fine alhamdulilah.

It was good to hear from everyone else.
