Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Took my baby to the office today to get some stuff.
Everyone saw my baby. She slept the whole time, and everyone says "Ahhh, look how sweet she is, and so quiet"
You totally know that she's going to be up crying all night now.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I almost died today, alhamdulillah I'm just shaken up. I was riding my bike to class and I always try to be very careful, looking both ways at least twice. I was crossing the street on my bike at a stop sign and this stupid woman who was eating (more like making out with) a slice of pizza ran the stop sign and came to a screeching halt less than a foot away from the side of my front tire. She looked horrified and threw her hands over her mouth in shock but didn't even mouth 'sorry' or wave even when I glared at her. Idiot. I wanted to shout at her and tell her 'fatass, next time put down your food and drive before you kill someone. '
Too many bikes and pedestrians getting hit by cars on campus. i really feel they need to 1) ban cars on the main parts of campus and 2) make more bike paths. It's not like people haven't DIED, 2 years ago a guy was driving and texting and hit and killed a bicyclist who was crossing a pedestrian crosswalk. Last week a pedestrian was hit right outside my arabic class (again on a pedestrian crosswalk) and had to be taken to the hospital.

Khair insha'Allah
I hit a guy on a bike once But I was going like 2 miles per hour, if that, but still
Once I saw a lady get hit by a car once though, not cool. Alhamdulillah though she was ok.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Several of my students were concerned with the fact that I have acne. I guess they must have really looked at my face today. They kept asking me what happened. I explained, but then I told them that it was okay to ask me since I am their teacher and I know they are asking because they care about me, but they can't go around asking strangers why they have acne because they might hurt someone else's feelings or make them cry. Then I almost cried .

awwww, poor thing. i know exactly how you feel. my acne has improved a lot since the pill, alh, but before then, id get SO many comments from random people.... and it was always hurtful, even if they were trying to help. since you're dealing with kids, at least they're innocent and don't know better.
but when adults do it.... jeez. it's like... do you really think you're doing me a favor by pointing out the painful red bumps all over my face that i'm already hyper-aware of and self-conscious about? yes, i've tried whatever stupid advice you have to offer to me. i dont even know you. do you get off on going around telling strangers that you don't like their faces?
grrr

I third that. I got especially annoyed when people made judgments about my health/hygiene (and yes I eat healthy/avoid sugars/drinks lots of water/exercise/bathe thanks)
