about birth control pills: I think I read a statistic that roughly half the girls experience issues in the first first to three months. If you have break through bleeding or spotting, I actually learned recently you can double up on active pills and it'll stop it. Ask your doc though to make sure. My friend doc told me about it but one of the possible side effects is nausea (which I did not experience alhamdulillah).

I just came home from work about 45 minutes ago. My sister told me that my dad was complaining about my job again. She told me that he was going to tell me to quit. This will be the 3rd or 4th time he will tell me to find another job.

My parents just don't get that the first year is the hardest and instead of supporting me, they are being counterproductive and really making it harder for me .

because migraines can be hormone-related. bc with higher levels of hormones will be more problematic than others.

The fact that I end up staying anywhere from 2 to 4 hours after school has let out. I've even been there until 9 or 10 some nights . Then I'll come home and spend another 2 or 3 hours working. I also do some school related stuff on weekends.

Dua's spice

DR, I had to work a lot of hours before I was married to support myself and attend school full time and my dad hated that. I'm not saying you should do the following but it's what worked for me.. one day I came home after 11pm from work and when he started ragging on me again for the zillionth time I basically said, "okay I'll quit my job but then you have to pay for my tuition." That ended that and he only ever grumbled to my mom in private after that (who then told him the same thing ).

You have to get experience, you have to do what you have to do. Can your mom help convince him to stop bugging you? Can you have a sincere talk with him yourself? I hope you find a solution .
