i don't know why, but it seems like i'm suppperrr sensitive to cold temperatures around that time of the month. like, my hands and feet will be ice cold the first 3 days of the cycle. what gives, man?
and my mom insists that i should be eating all these like heavy foods so i can be "prepared" for married life. like, liver and cherries and things that "make blood"....ew :barf:

Sounds like iron deficiency to me, but could be wrong. Take multi-vitamins with iron.

go hug your parents.
thanks, ladies i miss my dad. every time i go home when my mom has a khatam/et al for him, i get grilled by everyone there. doesn't matter whether they're related, or family friends, or people i don't even know. you know how it is with judgmental community folks - umarried, working, and not living at home. clearly that means that i'm heartless and don't take care of my mom right? sigh. can't keep everyone happy, that's for sure.
i've been super antsy all week. i hardly did any work..instead, i spent the week cleaning my apartment top to bottom. every single possible thing that could be cleaned or rearranged..was cleaned and/or rearranged. then i cleaned a friends apartment top to bottom. and i rode my bike a lot. and i ate a lot of crap. and now i'm breaking out..haha. you think i'd learn not to do this by now huh.
please keep him and my family in your prayers inshallah

who cares what other people think. all that matters is what your mom thinks and your own immediate family thinks. she probably thinks ur a wonderful daughter anyways. and people will always talk, whether your single or married, ive noticed. theyre never happy cause they will always find some little thing wrong with everyone to talk about.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
qudsia - I wish I had some advice or something inspirational to say to help you. just remember, those people don't really know you or your situation or anything, really. try to let the comments and questions roll off you, because those people don't matter in the larger picture. may Allah make it easy for you.

I need new contacts, these ones hurt my eyes and get dried out and fuzzy after an hour of wearing them. but I'm too broke to go for an exam right now. I need to graduate already!!!

Re: go hug your parents.
2 more hours to go Apparently the HR lady here LIED on her resume and she has no experience in HR what so ever, which would explain why she doesn't know what the **** she's doing.
In other news, I think I'm also getting sick. My throat hurts when I talk, eat and drink. This is not okay.
Dua'as all around.

haha. that is so true. i went shopping there for bridal things with my sister before she got married, and everything was... gross. like, light pink or ivory colored or flowery stretchy material with ugly lace or crochet work.
va-va-voom!
...not
i can't wait till i get to shop for these things
