Laimun: Its so sad its a sad reality in the muslim community. My homie (14 yr bro) was recently went through this stage. there is this girl who was interested in him and she shamelessly approached him(non-muslim) and he apparently dated her for few days/weeks before he opened up to me. then he started asking me all this true love qs. then I shared my personal stories..some fake ones..where now love dove is all crap..girls are out to get ur $$ etc..made him understand how unislamic it is. al hamdoulilah, now he is not into it.(Al hamdoulilahx infinity) I guess the key is to BE OPEN TO HIM, GO DOWN TO HIS LEVEL. its sad but i adopted the gangsta lingo just to get along with my younger siblings and my attempts has always been "be friends with them" discuss stuff that they would normally hesistate to discuss with our "old minded" parents. I pray for ur cute bro and ask Allah to guide him and many like him. oh remmber to handle is calmly and subtely, remember to avoid drama at all cost and don't ridicule him at dinner table etc..
You got weird periods and acne? I suggest cutting down on the sugar in your diet.

Sometimes these really are hormonal problems. I'm gonna try birth control pills next too.

Ya, I did the BC thing for a while. technically, I am supposed to still be on it, but I lost the prescription. Doesn't matter for me though, my doctor already told me I will have a rough time getting pregnant because apparently I don't ovulate. My mother and I cried about it for like a week, since I am the oldest daughter, I should have the first grandkids, you know? But inshaAllah, I can take something to help me. I just dont want to have like 5 kids at once.(if I do, I'm keeping 2 and dividing the remaining kids up among my family and friends. )

That's okay, I don't ovulate much either. And there's a few things that can be done before the pergonal/multiple pregnancy route

my cousin needed to do that for a while. If you go onto birth control pills, don't hesitate to go back to the doctor to demand different pills if you get really horrible moods. My cousin made the mistake of not realising it was connected to the pill after a long time!
