Okay, it's officially messed up.
This essay is the least of my worries now. I'm gonna get it done, but if it's not the great work that my prof has come to expect from me, well... I'll just have to explain to him what's going on exactly.
Du'assssssssssss, please. Thank you!

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Got my mark back for a test I had to write on Eid (ew). I literally thought I failed. I was in Eid mode and didn't study my hardest. But I don't think I've ever been this happy being average.
Good luck with the essay Timbit!

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
[rant]
Just turned in my essay alh. I haven't slept a wink tonight. Now I still have to study for my exam at 2:30 today, be in class til 5 and then come home to catch up on sleep and eventually start preparing for the coming week: Arabic oral exam, Psych project, Hebrew Bible exam, Arabic written exam, Career Center appointment, study session and at least one paper due next week, not to mention the pile of reading I have to catch up on. aaarrrrgh guess it's time to get out all the syllabi
I've got aches and pains from the steroids I'm taking for my chronically inflamed sinuses that have been giving me hell since last November and I just found out the bank mistakenly charged my account late fees that shouldn't be there. I really should clean and air out my apartment which smells like musty cat hair and cat poo and drag my butt to the market to pay my electric bill but I don't have time!! At least the guy is coming this morning to fix my washer/dryer that's been broken since last week.
*sigh* Who would've thought senior year would be my most hectic and stressful yet?

yeah i was just wondering how the economy is going to affect wedding season this year...
Just remember that the marriage is more important than the wedding....if you have to cut people from the list do it., dont feel bad.
I sympathize with desi girls ....casue your weddings are like 3 days and thats ALOT of money....espeically now with people losing money left and right.

You should try to cut things when you can and keep it simple. You don't need a stage or fancy chairs - just have an area in the front and decorate some hotel chairs yourself with tulle or something. If your friend wants you to pay for your own shower (which is weird), then tell her to forget it. If everyone wants to be showered with gifts etc and they're not contributing to the cost of the wedding, then too bad for them. Just do what you can afford and what is manageable for you. You don't want to start your married life together in debt, you know? Best of luck.

yeah but there's a minimum amount of people that the hall requires you to have.
225 ppl...
i don't know what you mean about a 3 day wedding...my mehndi party is @ home, my family is paying for the wedding reception and his family is financing the walimah party. so it's just that one day that's costing a ton unfortunately...

Yeah, I do need a backdrop, however. That's what costs so much. And I need to find some way to get chairs that aren't hella expensive. Don't know how to decorate it myself and have it look appropriate.
