Everybody, make du'a for my friend. She's very sick. Like hospital/ER sick.

Oh.. you ain't seen nothin yet! Our instructor didn't show! So most of the people left but about 5 of us stayed (I've never met these girls before) and we're like shoot we're gonna work out anyway so one of em was like "man we need a teacher" and I was like "I'll teach!" so I sat in the instructor's bike ... mind you I've never taught a fitness class before (well a couple times I taught kickboxing) but it helps to at least get us motivated so we started off with me telling them the steps but since we've all done it everyone started doing their own thing (and I was all pooped after 5 minutes anyway haha, couldn't breathe, let alone talk!) so we're like giving each other moves and motivating each other. One girl was kind enough to get a CD from her car so we could stay pumped. So that was my morning. Then I came home and I had some eggs. Being healthy is fun! Now back to my stupid paper... grrr Vioxx litigation!

I made a new friend - we went to brunch and an art festival yesterday. It was a beautiful day for walking and we had a nice time.

I couldn't go to a baby shower this weekend because of Eid stuff. But the evite was so cute... the shower was bollywood themed so they took a poster from Om shanti Om and made it Mom Shanti Mom. teehee.

that's adorable, can't wait to tell my friend. She's OBSESSED with Om Shanti Om (she's american and doesn't understand a word but listens to all the songs all the time )

Just found out Arabic oral exam is on thursday.. I stayed up most of the night doing a mountain of Arabic hw and reading for another class. I still have a paper for tomorrow and a project for Thursday and an exam tomorrow. Just seems stuff keeps adding up this week . My mama just sent me a whole bunch of food though and went really out of her way to make biryani and even sent eggs! I love my mama mashallah

Good luck. My sister gets 40% off of MAC...hollla. But then I end up spending too much, luckily she sends me most of it for free. I love having my blush and eye shadow pallets full..it makes life easier. She sent me new brushes the other day I should go check my mail.

I hate lending my sisters money. Why can they never pay me back on time? They borrowed $130 from my in AUGUST promising to pay me back before the end of the month. They knew that my maternity leave is unpaid. They still haven't paid me back. Then I hear that one of them is after me to co-sign a loan for her.

gdamn bailout. non-profits are being affected like whoa. i signed on as a consultant and was told that if i produced results, i'm on board as staff (and get paid more)(and don't have to work out of my apartment). but the stupid timing of this stupid meltdown and the stupid bailout means serious cut back in funds for non profits...we're a very young organization, only 4 years old. i'm scared. inshallah khair.
