Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I am so sleepy. I was up til nearly 1am talking to my friend. I kept waiting for him to go to bed, since he can't stay awake past midnight, but he has my dad's computer and started getting all dumb and excited because my dad had some of his khutbah notes and stuff on there. He is so weird!
I finally got an outfit to wear to 6flags too, its not the total hotness like I wanted, but with a baby bump, you take what you can (and before you people ask, I am NOT pregnant, I just look like it )

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
This might be funny for those who know how my real name is spelt... (if you're on my FB)
I got a friend request from a random Muslim guy at my school and I rejected, sending him a message saying 'Sorry, I don't know you' and he responded going, "Sorry, I didn't read your name carefully and I took you for brother Suhail as I was adding firends and brothers from my [our] MSA group."
Hahahaahaha..brother Suhail

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
All of you who have nose piercings, do you change yours often? If so, where do you buy them?
All the fake ones I've tried (like 2 yrs ago) were worthless..and I think I'm sensitive to fake nose studs? But not really overall sensitive to fake jewelery?

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
salams and Eid Mubarak to all.
things are going okay so far.
Someone wanted a pain comparison some time back. I did go through labor (crazy labor) and I can tell you that the pain of labor was not as bad as the pain of my ovarian cyst bursting. They gave me a spinal for the c-section, and it started to wear off immediately after they removed it. Worst pain I've ever felt in my life: the nurse massaging my uterus in the surgical recovery room. I actually screamed.
EDIT: I'm only 5 lbs away from my pre-pregnancy weight. Fenugreek really does make your sweat smell like maple syrup.

i've changed it once, from surgical steel to gold. but the gold one isn't really shaped all that great, so i had to force it in, and it bled. and i havent been able to get it out since. except for one time when i was washing my face and it actually did almost slip out.
oh and i haven't had any infections at all since i switched over to gold.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
hiiiiii salaaaaaam
can i make a comment without everyone hating me? hopefully? inshaAllah.
remember before Ramadan when we'd come to FPH and see all the hardships we were each going through in our lives -- from deaths to drama and everything in between. SubhanAllah, it seems (to me, at least) that since Ramadan started, alhumdulillah, we've all been so much happier and, if nothing else, more positive.... striving for the best in ourselves and others, realizing the tests in our lives and reacting to them appropriately, always searching for the silver lining on our dark clouds, etc. etc.
inshaAllah inshaAllah inshaAllah i really hope we can keep that up after Ramadan as well. I'm not saying that we should never complain in FPH or anything like that.... i'm just hoping that inshaAllah if our discontent/difficulties in our lives are truly caused by shaytaan, then inshaAllah we'll be able to withstand the tests as well in his presence than we've been able to in his absence. inshaAllah.
