i unfriended and blocked someone who messaged me going on and on about how i'm a b* (but not until i replied and tore him a new one). i also blocked him in real life. even when he's in the room, its like he doesn't exist. and it shall stay that way until i get an apology.

Yeah, I'm pretty useless like that too.
Occasionally my mom will be like "Maybe you should learn to make roti now" but we never really follow through on that. I've tried a few times, but have failed miserably.
I can clean and do laundry and sort it, but I suck at/hate ironing with a passion. And I suck at/hate folding clothes too. So I usually just pick my clothes up and hang them up. And get everybody else to pick up their own clothes too. Everybody irons them before they wear them ('cept for me, 'cause I hate ironing... unless they're really wrinkly, in which case I suck it up).

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
So long ago I bought this really HIDEOUS leopard-print dress from this African store at the mall that no longer exists. I just re-found the dress in an old dresser and put it on to use as a nightie. It's spaghetti straps, kinda high-necked and goes to about mid-calf (frumpy much? ) but it's a nice flowy cottony material and it has a nice slimming effect. It's so ugly but I feel pretty the only problem is I bought it when I was 17 and now the top part of it is WAY TOO TIGHT

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
It's really really awkward when a Muslim guy asks you in real life about your breastfeeding habits... especially when they have follow-up questions and you're trying to change the subject

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Hey, this is some important info about Safi that some Desis are obsessed with. I've known for a while but I don't think I ever posted this..
CBC News: Marketplace | Warnings and Recalls
Foreign Product Alert: Health Canada
July 19, 2006
Health Canada is warning consumers about a product called Safi, manufactured by Hamard Wakf Laboratories in India and Pakistan. In November 2005, the U.K.’s Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency issued an alert on Safi because it was found to contain toxic levels of arsenic.
Safi is marketed as a blood purifier, but may also be marketed to treat skin conditions such as acne, boils, rashes, blemishes and hives. This product may also be promoted for the treatment of nose bleeds, constipation, indigestion and weight maintenance.
Safi is a liquid supplied in a dark brown opaque bottle with a yellow screw top and lime-green labelling and packaging. Click here to see a picture of the bottle.
Arsenic can affect the liver, bone marrow, cardiovascular system and central nervous system, causing nausea, abdominal pain, vomiting, muscle cramps, heart abnormalities, liver damage, anemia and reduced motor nerve function.
Health Canada issued a Public Advisory (March 4, 2005) and Warning (July 14, 2005) that alerted Canadians about the presence of toxic levels of arsenic and its associated health effects in the product Safi.

I've told my mom about this but she doesn't believe me. Still insists that I should drink the stuff... =\ It's so disgusting. If I ever drink it, I dilute half a spoon of it into my glass of orange juice.
