Duas for sally's mom and anyone else who needs them. Farah, there are a ton of things you can study. You can look at access to care, gender differences (check out heart disease in particular), barriers, access to insurance (which can be used as a proxy for access to care, but is interesting in its own right), disparities in availability of quality food etc. Maybe do a search in medline and see what comes up.
