iSHi isn't your hair black or pretty close to it? I don't recommend going lighter than a chocolate brown when you're dying it at home. I have dark brown hair with natural lighter brown in it and tried dying it medium golden brown with some dye from the store. It turned it a horrible color. I've tried it more than once actually with various brands and it has never worked. Save yourself the trouble and get it done professionally

Sooooo the iftaar party was AWESOME!! The food was great mashallah, we had biryani, bbq chicken with pita bread, salad, fruit salad, cake, muffins, tea, homemade cheesecake ice cream.. that was about half of what was there. Mashallah mashallah my friend is an AWESOME cook

hi ladies....

electricity is back at our house ALHUDMULILAH, i am so thankful for allah for that, there are still liek 135,000 houses in houston alone that are suffering from no electricity and some without water either STILL, including some of my freinds and the street opposite us!!!! so half our street is pitch black with only a few of our houses standing lighted ALHUMDULILAH. we drove around houston and honestly i felt like crying. there are billboards knocked over on teh street everywhere, roofs damaged, poles knocked over, restraunts and stores with half thier lettering missing, signals messed up all over the place and hanging so we have to drive with our instincts, not to mention galvestion island is totally gone and crystal beach is wiped off totally....

our house had some damage done to it that inshallah were going to call up the insurance tommorow and file a claim for, our roof had some damage and the shingles flew off some, so we have some leaks all over the house, two of our growing palm trees in our backyard that were teh most gorgeous ones bent over dead, our backyard flooded halfway, and our fence is broken all around, not to mention a huge crack in the attic and our front door frame messed up...alhumdulilah though theyre minor things that inshallah can be fixed and were hoping we dont get any more rain right now because of the leaks. one of my uncles however who lives 20 miles from galveston had all his windows broken and the freezer in his store flew about 2 blocks from his store and landed at a walmart parking lot... alhumdulialh they evacuated though!

make dua ladies! a lot of people need it here!

thanks!

yeah downtowns not in good shape right now, hearing theres chairs and desks all over the place that flew out from the windows of the offices....some girl said she witnessed a tornado land right where this j.p. morgan chase bank was which was probably what wiped out the entire buildings windows and blinds. i have the urge to go check it out but they put it off limits, not to mention we have a curfew of 9 pm till 7 am everyday until further said so.

Yea it is, but this isn't the first time I've use an at home kit. They usually always work for me. And if they don't come out that exact shade, than I just get some pretty cool highlights. I've never had a horrible experience with hair color except for the time I tried those at home high lighting kits. Never ever again. Anyways, hopefully it works out. Thanks for the tip. The day I get enough money, I'll go see a pro. But than again, I still have my mom. (She's a cosmotologist.)

I have it and unfortunately there isn't a cure but there are products that will help "lesson" the symptoms [i.e. make the bumps less noticeable]...I exfoliate with this 2-3 times a week Sephora: Dermadoctor KP Duty Body Scrub: Body Scrubs & Exfoliants the other days I just exfoliate with a regular scrub and then when I get out of the shower I apply Amlactin to damp skin. Alh my skin on the backside of my upper arms has improved a lot [which is where I have it]. That dermadoctor stuff works wonders.

Afra are you talking about those bumps on the back of your arms? The ones that sometimes look like dried out pimples? I used to get those a lot since I was 12 but lately I haven't been getting them. I still have leftover spots from years of it being there but it's not that prominent anymore (it used to be angry red all the time). I use Dove soap now, perhaps that had something to do with it? None of those creams the dermatologist or physician gave me every worked.

I don't, but amlactin is good. If rubbing lotion on is too much, maybe you can try an AHA body wash (dermadoctor sells one)?
