hmmm i've never seen her vids before, i'll have to check it out . i dont use mac cuz it's too expensive for how little i would actually use the stuff. I wish I actually had the patience to do my makeup well everyday.. i usually just throw on some tinted moisturizer, swipe on some kohl/eyeliner, curl my lashes and apply nude balm.basically just enough to look human.

I'm going to a ladies iftaar party tomorrow night though so I'm gonna play around with the makeup more iA. The outfit I'm wearing's gonna be hot and i think i'll curl my hair, I can't wait

edit: i really really like this look but it's sooooo bold YouTube - MAC Makeup: Christina Aguilera

apparently the engineer of the metrolink passenger train was TEXTING while driving the train.

25 total dead now... 80+ in critical condition, several on life support. and a total of 135 injured.

i dont know why those makeup tutorials kind of annoy me. its cool to see them create the looks, but their commentary is usually really lame and corny. haha

also...their brush strokes seem kinda violent/agressive when applying it. if i attempted that i think id poke my eye out or something.

Tonight my parents went to a Ramadan iftaar at the masjid back in my hometown.. my brother came to my mom sobbing uncontrollably and told her that the imam's youngest son held him down while this Sunday school teacher's son beat him over the head and kicked him...in the PRAYER HALL!!! I can believe this because it has happened to my brother before and to other kids, apparently just for fun. I have witnessed it on a few occasions. The imam's wife apologized but the other boy's mom made excuses.

Also tonight this stupid aunty had the nerve to come up and say something to my mom about my sister taking off her hijab as if she was complaining about her (my sister) so my mom basically told off the stupid aunty (the desi community had a field day with my sister's hijab, it was the hot topic for all the non-hijabi aunties, whose own daughters by the way don't wear hijab either.) I bet the aunties will have another field day about my mom now

Desis are famous for gossiping....can't hold their tongue, can they?

Sorry to hear that jelly......Some kids over here are also like that; I think the brat pack is growing more rowdy as the years go on. Parents nowadays have either no control or they just don't control enough.

I swear I wasn't this misbehaved; one look from my mum would shut me up for good

They (aunties in general) are the reasons I've stayed clear of community events. I don't like to be judged simply because i'm not a hijabi or a full time one. It's so sad. It's ramadhan, but that means so little these days.

iSHi I don't really go to community events much anymore either for the same reason as you. It's much more fun and less drama to have smaller gatherings of friends for an iftaar party or Eid get-together etc.

Yea tell me about it. All it took was one look or a "what was that missy?" to make me feel ashamed of whatever I'd done. Not sure what's up with this but it seems so many Muslims from all ethnicities and walks of life have NO parenting skills whatsoever ...like, ISNA needs to create and more actively promote parenting skills workshops or SOMETHING
