Re: Female Personal Hygiene
aww sumi
i wouldnt worry so much about your fever not going down unless its super high (like 103 or higher) or its been there for more than a few days. in adults as far as i know its not dangerous and its just your bodys natural response to fighting off the illness. i hope you feel better!
(if you are concerned about bringing it down though, and one medication isnt working for you, you can try rotating tylenol with ibuprofen...one every 3 hours or so.)

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
salam all
just thought i would quickly say salam to all the sisters and ramadan kareem. I dont get much time to come on here. You know what it is like being a new mother or just a MOTHER on top Aleena has many extra extra needs because of her condition....these days i day dream about SLEEP and FREE time or ME time but it doesn't exist.
She is sleeping now so I am taking advantage of this time but in abit i have to sort out her tube feed, meds etc.
Hope you are all well? My ramadhan is going ok...it's not what it used to be since i moved here. The shaytan has left his influence with me and I am very bad with ibadat, concentration or anything. Make dua for me.
All my love and duas to you
Wsalam x
p.s. zakk are you a mother to your 3rd baby yet?
Sona - hope you are well and baby as well.
(these are the only mothers i remember)
x

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Affa's trials make mine look tiny by comparison. Dua's for you and your daughter Affa
Yesterday I was a very good girl, and rested all day. I had a headache all day though, which just kept getting worse and worse. I called the nurse at midnight who told me to get my butt to the hospital ASAP because my headache, after taking tylenol, was becoming intense. The idea being that borderline high blood pressure + bad headache = something really really bad.
I think it's the first time in my life I've ever been grateful to have *just* a migraine. They monitored me for several hours, gave me a shot of demerol, and sent me home. Today I'm sleeping all day again, and possibly tomorrow too. I really dislike demerol, but if your choice is a migraine that was quickly becoming unbearable (uncontrollable tears, nausea etc) or demerol hangover, demerol is better. Alhamdulillah it was just a migraine. My blood pressure dropped too, and my labs came back okay. The nurses were very nice to me, alhamdulillah, and when I was leaving they all told me to come back soon

WOW, mashAllah!!! and MASHALLAH on the news that you are expecting again. I would love another one soon inshAllah. It would be great for Aleena as it would also help her to pick up more with a sibling about. It's just me and Aleena at home and my husband works so at times I have to leave her alone and do what needs doing. Give fatimah a big kiss...would love to see pics of your kids.
Wsalam x
