the thread title clearly states FEMALE personal hygeine.
We all know its a public forum.
Yes we may discuss personal stuff, but generally we TRUST the brothers not to come into the thread.
Also theres nothing TOO personal in here, its mostly ikky female stuff that brothers don't wanna know about anyway.

wouldn't it be sensible to create a segregarted section for these things?

you can't call it naive, since from our experience so far brothers don't come in here, and if they do they get neg repped to hell and back.
Also its not like we're sat here discussing really haramish personal stuff...the most personal it gets is "omg i skipped !! " or "omg i'm getting married/am preggers!"

we've asked for a segregated forum...but where else do you expect us to discuss it? We're not being silly or immature. All issues are generally discussed with haya and respect...

Sumyia, mashallah your daddi is really lucky. Firstly, because she passed away in Ramadan. Second, because one of the things which helps us in the akhira is the duas of pious kids..and the fact that your dad was in medina and could make dua for her in such a holy place...subhanallah. I think that's amazing. Insha Allah I hope your fam is well, you are in my duas. May allah open a window to Jannah into her resting place and give your family peace. Ameen.

Then don't post. Nobody is twisting your arm. If you really think about it, 99% of everything on Islamica isn't necessary to discuss, and the manner in which it's discussed is even worse than unnecessary.
Ameen to all the dua's for all those who are deceased, ill, having a hard time.
My back hurts, I'm crampy, and I'm very grumpy and touchy.
