Re: Female Personal Hygiene
salams i finally had time to catch up with fph lately. hahah it seems almost every little problems applies to me. may be bc we are all women or we live practially a same life with similar obsticles..if it makes any sense.
remember the rishta boy dilemma i posted a while ago? well, my friends and i went camping and when we were on our way back, i decided to call home and tell my parents im coming shortly. they probbaly must've missed us or may be not? regardless, long story short, my mom tells me the rishta boy and his khandaan (read extended family) is coming over in an hour..WTH
here i am, all covered in mud, smell like bbq and i haven't sleep more than 2 hours in last couple of days and my body is aching like never before...(having ur period+ getting soakd in rain is not very soothing) and on the other hand, my mother is preparing dinner for ten or so people and she definitely needs a hand in the kitchen.
so i help out in the kitchen as much as i can..and then i got dressed and stuff. i went to my bedroom to ask my lil sister a question, she was there on my bed using my laptop and i found myself laying on my bed..just for a second while i straighten my back for a few minutes...and i can't remember anything else after that..hahahha ..then i remember waking up this morning at 7 am.
apparently, when i was fast asleep like a baby; my mom try to wake me up several times. but al hamdoulilah my parents explained how drenched and exhausted we were..so thats the end of our first and inshaAllah last meet up!.. hopefully they won't show up again.. i feel guilty and kinda relieved at the same time..

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
hahhaah i didn't have that intention..sorry if it seemed like..well ramadan is just arund the corner..so i thought i'd rather be so kind and get all religious now! hahahah
this reminds me of a lil incident that happened last week. i was walking down to our campus, i had to print some posters for a event and stuff..first time EVER, i see a nun who is fully dressed like a nun, you knw the totally black clothes and the hijab thing..if i didn't have my glasses on, i'd have mistaken her for a full hijabi..so anyways, apparently, she was coming towards me and when she noticed me (aka a hijab with almost modestly dressed) , she said "asalamu alykum" and replied back to her. i'd assume if i was in my abaya that day, we'd have looked like twins and we'd totally hugged each other..

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Sounds like a fun time.
I suck at tennis too. And squash.
My friends like sports that involve hitting balls with rackets. And they like to make me get up at unGodly hours to do that too.

No, not weird at all. FPH is love.
I'm glad your grandma is getting better. Alhamdulillah.
Are you going back to school soon?
