Re: Female Personal Hygiene
stupid question!
what are some hair removal methods that leave you as smooth as shaving?
the braun Xpressive epilator doesnt, right? somehow i have trouble believing that it can be THAT much different from the epilator i already have. i know it has bells and whistles and stuff, but is it really worth it? and is the shaver feature an electric-style one or the regular kind?

I'd suggest waxing and then using the epilator to keep off the hair. What about hair cream removers?

Those are horrible. Try the tubbed waxes, you just need practice, but once you get it right, you dont want to try anything else.
My current favourite is: Buy Alexandria Body Wax Strips from Canada at Well.ca
(the tubbed one, I dont use strips)
Its amazingggggggggggggggggggg

Yeah, microwave.
You can tell from the consistency of the wax if its too hot or okay to use. Also, a good idea is to try a tiny bit on your hand before you start applying it in larger amounts. You cant burn yourself unless you're.. clumsy and knock the tub over and it spills on you or something..

My mom came last night safe and sound, alhamdulillah. She HATES flying so had to get a tranquilizer from her doctor to keep from having a panic attack on the plane. The airline were so nice, they let my sister take her all the way to the gate. I'm going to ask her how she managed that so I can do the same when it's time for her to go home. She's lost so much weight, mashallah. Yeah, she's still very large, but I don't think I've seen her this "thin" for almost 7 years! I hope she has a good time here.

yeah, definitely. but i just found a pair for $60 ($60 birkenstocks?!?!) that are actually cute (they look much better in person than in the thumbnail), and they're closed-toe so my feet won't freeze off in the boston winter (as long as i stay out of puddles and snow)
