that's a life choice. why should I give her sympathy for it? it was her decision. while it's true that raising a child it and of itself is no easy thing (not to mention adding school..that's a lot to take on), I wouldn't call it admirable. ultimately, it's her decision. so why should I feel bad that she feels bad that she's leaving her daughter to go to school when she decided to have a kid when she's still in school?

Umm... because it's easier said than done? The situation may not have been as simple as you make it out to be and you're really in no position to judge her. But I guess you're entitled to your own opinion... and I don't agree with it.

You don't always make the choice to have a kid. Okay? Okay.
Let's not speculate though. Could be Laimuun did make that choice for whatever reason. So let's not hate on other women for their choices.

right.
except..most of the time, life choices aren't easy choices to make. it's nice to think that one can plan out her life in such a way that she can focus on one thing at a time, but more often than not, you're left juggling several things at a time because that's the only feasible and practical 'option' left for you at that particular time in your life.
if someone is so lucky as to be able to actually make those decisions (and i say actually because everyone wants to be able to live an ideal life sans stress and difficult choices, but most of us end up making huge compromises that result in sacrificing time and energy and dreams and what have you to take on several other tasks that weren't previously on the 'schedule')...anyway..as i was saying..if someone is actually able to make those decisions materialize in the exact way that they envisioned them...without complications... i sure hope they realize how blessed and lucky they are

hehe. i cannot disclose this just yet.
i should upload some pictures i took at coney island recently of the waterboarding 'display'. i didn't watch the actual thing...but it was really disturbing otherwise. and my friend and i got to chit chat with folks that did watch it, we talked about the effect of having it there, whether people found it educational vs. entertaining, so on and so forth.

I don't know if she obtained pamphlets herself, or if she heard it through the grapevine.
EDIT: I found some information about similar incidents though

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
i have an embarrasing proffessor for literature and culture.....
according to him "this class is an easy A if u come to class, read the material, and take the quizzes which i make super easy....BUT, i do make people cry time to time...if you dont justify your opinion enough for me and im not satisfied with your answer, i wont let you go until you do so" ahhhhhh! im already a shy person and it takes me a while to start talkin and stuff, i was so nervous hed call on me when id least expect it that i kept my eyes down, and i felt him look at me to call on me, but he called on another hijabi instead....ahhhhh!
but its an easy A. so im thinking of sticking out the embarrasments. and becoming better at justifying my opinions under pressure of a tall semi-bald younger looking man that looks hella intimidating before he starts to stand over my head and ask me WHY? WHY DO U THINK THAT?! (he said he gets a little too excited so he doesnt realize hes movingn in closer and putting his student under such immense pressure)
ahh well, got so much reading to do...
i also fell asleep in logic. and yawned in the teachers face twice.
