Re: Female Personal Hygiene
alhamdulillah, my aunt's doing better this morning. my mom went to see her and said that she's still somewhat groggy, but now she was able to talk a little and get up to use the restroom and stuff.

while NOT washing your face enough can give you acne, washing it more frequently than usual isn't any more beneficial, and might turn out to be worse for your skin. it can dry out your skin and cause more problems.
the best over-the-counter type of acne facewashes that i've used--they're gentle, effective, and don't dry out your skin--are neutrogena (that ugly orangey-yellow gel), and even better, Biore something or another. they were excellent when my acne was milder.
but if your acne is like mine is now and refuses to be controlled by conventional means, consider prescription medications. antibiotics can help it for some bit, but i dont like taking them for fear of developing resistance or messing up the balance of benign bacteria in my body. medicated facewashes such as Brevoxyl (mine is 4% benzoyl peroxide) are awesome, then a cream like BenzaClin (AMAZING). if that doesn't work, oral contraceptives are supposed to be magical. and if even that doesnt work, the last resort (or rather, my last resort) would be accutane.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
thanks moon and jaani sometimes it is not within our capacity to deal with certain issues, so we got to relay on Allah subha wa tallah for His assistance. and thats what i'll do inshaAllah. I might invite some of my close friends and introduce her as myself. hahahha. only if my parents would cooperate!
perhaps, afra knows more about acne controls. mA. my issue has always been not washing my face frequently. it helps a lot in my case. al hamdoulilah. i guess, for different triggers of acne there are different solutions.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
mama mia was nauseating.
I cringed a lot through it.
I also threatened my mother with violence. She wanted to sing. thank god we didn't go to the sing-a-long version.
