Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I just got home after being at school for over 12 hours again. All I have eaten today was a Nature Valley Oats granola bar, 3 bottles of water, 5 Sun Chips - chips NOT bags, and a Quaker Oats granola bar. Every night this week with the exception of Tuesday, I've been leaving the school around 9 or 10 pm. When I come home, I am so mentally drained and physically tired, that I can't manage more than a "Salaam" to my parents. I've been on my feet all day until now - up and down ladders, running back and forth from one part of the building to another. It actually *hurts* to sit down. And I don't know why, but I'm crying. I don't know if its because I feel lost about what the hell I'm doing on Monday or if I'm just really tired. I am starving, but I can't even eat right now. I have to put gas in my car. Buy ink, so that I can finish preparing labels and organizing everything for the first day. I always knew it wasn't going to be easy, but I never expected it to be like this.

aw, come on. i'm sure you'll be awesome. it's natural to have jitters about the first day, but you've had plenty of experience and you seem to really know what you're doing. the kids are going to love you

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
DR, inshallah it will get better in time I have a friend who's been a teacher at a charter school for over 2 years. It's hard because they have different rules than regular public schools and the teachers have to work harder than their public school counterparts. Now mashallah her perseverance in the beginning paid off and she's sooo happy. Her old students always come back to visit her and the parents love her to death. Hang in there
---
so over the past few weeks I've distanced myself from a certain someone who I used to be close to and I've found after forcibly diminishing their direct involvement in my life and affairs, I feel less stressed, more free and definitely more relaxed. The person's stress causes me to be so pessimistic and now I'm definitely feeling and acting more positively alhamdulillah. Very strange how one person can have such an influence..
