Inshallah it will be okay. It's that time of year, so it's probably nothing. Just take some tylenol and rest. Don't worry, don't get stressed out. Think happy positive thoughts and rest. It will be okay.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
So, I need to get some shalwar kameez that actually fit me, and I don't have time to make them myself. Is there a place to get some simple shalwar kameez in a persons correct size that isn't outragously expensive?

eh, i really think all rules are thrown out the windows these days concerning how these things are "supposed" to be... i mean, who really is going to wear one shalwar kameez for 7 days straight, go without showering, get upton smeared on them and not look nice for the mayun/manja? as for mehndi, i think simple outfits look do look cute, but i personally wore a mehndi green gharara and had my makeup done for my mehndi... shrug. totally depends on the person these days.

why didn't you tell me? I might be going in December, but the trip will be too short to get any made while I'm there

...And I'm trying to get away from having to wear salwar kameezes.
My sister's going to Bangladesh in a couple of months, and my mom's all like "Okay, so she [talking about me here] needs new sk's, get her one's in turqoise, pink, green, mustard yellow, red..." And I'm like, groaning on the side. I guess it was nice of her to pick my favorite colors?

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I had light makeup for my mehndi /manja. I once saw a bride who went the whole plain route and didn't even wax her mustache. INMHO that is taking things a bit too far, especially if you're not married yet AND your fiance happens to see you.
