MAC is thick, and heavy. I dislike their foundations a lot. I only use their eye makeup
$7 CG foundation FTW!

Yea same with me..i hardly wear foundation and when i do, i use Bare Essentials powder foundation (which i love ) with my MAC concealer (but i lost that ). But for weddings and very formal parties i wear MAC foundation. I use Dove moisturizer with 15 SPF and it works for me, my face doesnt break out at all. I use to use Oil of Olay moisturizer but that broke my face out like CRAZY. I dont use primer cuz i think i really dont need it.

i REALLY wanted that to suit my skin, because you can sleep with it amd it doesnt clog your pores! But when I wear it, I start looking really..dusty?? It looks like I walked through a cloud of dust. I tried everything...I even used a tiiiney amount, but I still just end up looking dirty.

I guess it depends on different skin types.

i bought these eyeshadows for 5 bucks each (3 color palletes) at the mall once. i bought 3 palletes. and i dont know if thats the right spelling for palletes. ANYWAYS. i didnt think theyd be that amazing, but every single time i've worn them ive gotten compliments and girls who love MAC have even asked me what im wearing.. it really is an amazing brand with amazing shades etc. i think wearing moiturizer underneathe just brings them out so much better.

check it out: NYX Cosmetics: Simple Life, Simple Cosmetics

im gonna cross post this in the make up thread

anyway i think MAC is amazing but it's MAD expensive..16 bucks for one eye shadow is incredibly ridiculous. so for someone who doesnt wear make up on a regular basis at all, and at the risk of having it go to waste sitting in a corner ive never been able to justify spending money on MAC products aside from the foundation

Ya, I wanted to like it to but even the lighest shade was a bit too dark for me, made me look kinda orange.

SEPHORA will make you a free sample of anything. I got a free sample of the photo finish primer to see if I liked. I did. I bought.

I seriously love sephora. I don't have to spend money to try products.

Don't know where else to post this.
YouTube - Thunderant - "Feminist Bookstore"

EDIT: Ow, my arm. I got an allergy test done (ha ha, I'm not allergic to anything) and it involved them cutting my arm. 10 times. Ouch.
Du'as please.

EDIT2: She said they were going to be scratches.

it was face wash, DDF Brightening Cleanser

I would say best moisturizer is hope in a jar by philosophy.

they sell both at sephora.
And also, I noticed a lot of girls complaining about acne, so here is DDF's acne regimen. Their other products are really good, so I am assuming these are worth a shot for those who have tried everything else.
