Sometimes I feel like a mutant and that there's something wrong with me because unlike most other girls (and even some guys) my age (married or unmarried) I don't have this aching obsession to have kids or hold every baby I see. Of course I like the idea of someday having kids with the guy that I'm head-over-heels-in-love with (ideally my husband ). But I've never had the same reaction to babies and kids as everyone else seems to have and I have a serious aversion to brats

same here.
my own nieces, who i love to death and would die for, i get bored of REALLY fast. i dont like sitting with them for long periods of time.and other people's kids..like my cousins/cousins kids...even if theyre cute..im like go away. lol

thank God someone else feels the way I do . I can't even take my little brother in large doses (he's 8). He's a cutie but he talks soooooo much. I taught at sunday school for a year. the older class (9-11 year olds) were cool and cute but the squealing, bratty younger class (4-6 year olds) was a nightmare for me. I hated 3rd period

I'm the exact opposite.
I worked at a day care with little kids from a year to 5 years olde.
And they are a lot more fun then older kids.
They are amazed by everything.

yea I had one or two favorites in the younger class but majority had the attention span of a gold fish, were disrespectful and/or hyper. there was this one little desi kid, i always forget his name but he was sooooo cute I wanted to take him home to be my little brother.

My kitten was caught out in the rain (alhamdulillah we finally got some).
And now he came in wrapped himself in my hijab and is sniffling.
Its soo cute! Poor thing.
