Miraytee means my mirror, it's hard to tell with weird transliteration. In the song she's talking to her mirror (Snow White style) and asking her mirror to tell her who/what she is and that she's the most beautiful person and all that confidence boosting/identity confusion stuff.
The song sounds a little creepy.

yup that's what i do. unless it's a bbq, everything is ready save for the rice (which, in my opinion, should wait right until everyone has arrived and you're ready to eat), the chai (obviously), and the appetizers if they're warm ones..but even those can wait till right before your guests arrive so you're not in the kitchen the entire time.
i don't have a carafe either i need to get married. or send out a registry for the hell of it and see if anyone sends me shiny stuff.
i dunno. i'm single and i live alone...and i do a lot of entertaining. and im a fob so that means i cook a thousand things. and yes, i use up every dish and every pot and it takes all of the energy i have to make it happen because it involves multiple trips to the grocery store and juggling time and what has to be made when..and clean up afterwards is a yatch. but i mean...it's the price you pay for entertaining? single or married, same difference? i dunno. i never thought much of it. shrug.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
so my in laws are coming today, and their flight arrives at 3, so when they get here it'll probably be around 4 and I'm having this whole lunch/dinner conflict. I've decided on pilau for dinner, but I'm wondering if I should serve that for "late lunch" when they arrive. but then they'd have to eat it again for dinner. should I make kababs and some sort of chutney to add for dinner? my husband just says to give them sandwiches when they arrive and have the pilau for dinner, but I don't want to give them sandwiches. ahhh! input anyone?

i think pilau for late lunch should be ok and even for dinner again. and if you want you can have sandwiches ready too so they have a lil variety. Does pilau has any meat in it or its just plain? i guess what you can do is for late lunch, have pilau and sandwiches. and for dinner you can serve pilau with kababs and chutney.

i had an interesting morning.. i tripped really bad in my office over this stupid wire. and people were there... but only one saw..and to me it all seemed as if it was slow motion..
Heba: every time hubby and i go out, and for some reason any time he orders something to eat, his food always looks more delicious than mine. and i always eye his food, he gets annoyed..and then he says would you want some? heheh.. but i also share my food.
