I spoke with her husband.... she's out of the country but her staff is still cleaning. For some reason she forgot to put me on the schedule... but I'm scheduled for thursday.

I got soooo much to do this week. 2 weeks til classes start, it seems like forever but I bet time will fly..

I switched bcp's today and I'm feeling kinda queasy

ew, school time!!!

i feel like i look like im from the 80s today. lol. im wearing half/sorta skinny jeans..and a top that shows one shoulder....and then a taxi cab style hat and big ass hoop earrings. HA HA im such a loser, how do i go out in public like this! ah welllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll [might i add, shirt + hat is black/white....and i have hot pink nail polish on]

ANYWHO..yeah...im off to class..woohoooooo last class of the summer. heba is happy!

Asvi, glad to hear you got the all clear

The husband and I went to an outdoor theater to see a show. It was really nice and we had a great time. It was so bizarre though - they began the show with the audience standing and everyone signing the national anthem. I don't really mind or anything, but I'm used to that at sporting events, not musical theater!

maybe it was cuz of the olympics? that is a little weird though..

I thought so too, but I asked the person next to me and she said they do it every time. I guess they are just very patriotic? I mean, it's fine and all, but I just wasn't expecting it and then I couldn't stop laughing because a friend of ours was commenting about how the super-patriotic people who insisted on the anthem are probably all against gay marriage but we were watching MUSICAL THEATER so the odds were that most of the male performers were gay (which is totally a stereotype, but seemed funny at the time).

I'm sosososososososooooo busy with all this junk before school. I started my Peace Corps app yesterday and am nowhere near finished, it's a long process I guess. I'm still looking for textbooks, applying for scholarships, studying for an Urdu proficiency exam AND still looking for a roommate. Oh not to mention I'm doing all the medical insurance stuff too

. My poor kitty is sick, she has an eye/allergy problem...alhamdulillah I was able to get a fairly decent rate for a checkup/rabies shot tomorrow. Poor little Spuddydud, she's so small and cute and furry and helpless
