Do you think that's really true, or do you think we just say it because we think we should be, or that if we say we are happy with every single thing on us people will say we're conceited? I have seen girls that will act very mousy and always sit with a sofa cushion infront of them and stuff--clearly they are self conscious(and it doesn't necc have to be just that). But that's a very small number of girls, whereas there is an idea floating around that *all* women are insecure about their body's, and if that were the case shouldn't all of us be acting mousy and hiding ourselves behind stuff? Are the majority of girls happy with the way they look over all?? Because I really don't think there is anyone in this world that truly believes they are not attractive. In fact, we probably find our own selves a little bit more attractive than the rest of the world does but seriously...I've been thinking about this...what do you think?
Edit-there are people that seriously do find themselves unattractive and have various disorders, but I am referring to people that are healthy mentally.

Everyone has positives and negatives about themselves. Parts they like, parts they wish to change. I never go around thinking that I'm God's gift because I know I'm not . I feel like I have average looks - nothing too special, nothing too whatever. And the whole compliments thing, I give compliments out sparingly and when I truly mean it. I always get compliments on my earrings and purses. Anyway, I think what bugs me out the most is like when you're all dressed up and you really feel good about the way you look, and someone comes along and bursts your bubble. They remind you of your most obvious flaws in an insulting and demeaning way. I've had it happen to me twice - both times at weddings. And that makes it extremely hard not to develop a complex or have insecurities.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I've seen loads of people do it actually, it doesn't seem any less dorkish than not wearing a hijab and wearing a helmet. I don't usually wear either but other people seem to pull it off successfully.

Agreed. It's a lot easier done in a 2pc Al Amirah scarf as opposed to a triangle/shawl style hijab that will have loose ends flying behind you. The 2pc just fits better on your head...though everyone with an odd shaped head tends to avoid them
Speaking of sporty hijabaliciousness - jelbab.com has a series of bathing suits and I finally found one that's a little more covering than your average bathing suit to wear in a women's only swimming pool (it doesn't deck you out completely - but if youre not too comfortable being in a normal bathing suit, this is nice)
Holler
Made in turkey. Skirt is removable. Great quality.

Yeah, well i spent ages in a busy city where buses had the habit of scaring you by driving too close but i soon found out that they think you're scared if you have a helmet on whereas if you show them the finger and get a whole rage thing going on they back off

Hijabs-R-Us
The categories are listed on the left. Compared to a lot of sites, this one is more reasonably priced, assortment of colors/design, and decent quality.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
i just took the MPRE.. probably failed it and will have to re-take it but i really don't care. i didn't study at all. but the worst part was having to sit next to the most annoying girl in the history of annoying. ahhhh!!! i know some people make everything sound like a question but this girl was just over the top!! i did not know it was possible to make the following sound like a question while placed in the middle of a sentence.. "like?" "umm?" "but?" "and?" seriously????? i wanted to smack her.. i feel sorry for the judges who will have to hear her arguing in court.
also, cramps totally suck and i'm not preggerz yay.
