try wearing a different type of material? it's possible you're allergic to the ones u wear now.

hmmm... i have the same problem. the majority of the acne on my face is on my cheekbone area and right below. exactly where the sides of my hijab hit. hmmm.

Guys I need to ask for a few dua's and maybe even some advice. alhamdulillah I love love looove my new apartment. I need to get a roommate though because the rent is pretty high for just me ($800/month). I've put ads on craigslist, contacted the MSA roommate search committee and tried to get it out by word of mouth. I don't mind living with a nonMuslim...without specifying religion I put in my ad that "i dont smoke, drink or bring guys over, would prefer a roommate who is the same." I've gotten a few serious replies thus far.. When my sister saw my apartment yesterday she loved it. A few months back she was considering moving in with me (before she saw this place) and attending community college nearby. For various reasons she changed her mind but now she's reconsidering. The main reason I like this idea is that when my husband comes to visit it will be okay for him to stay here whereas with a stranger (esp a hijabi) we would have to get a hotel room. Plus I would much rather live with family than a total stranger.

The problem is we need to find out if the community college here will let her attend without charging out-of-town fees and if she can find a decent job to keep up with all the expenses. I can't ignore the other girls who've emailed me and if one comes through before my sister decides, I'll have to accept the stranger as the roommate. Please make dua that somehow everything works out for the best
