Yeh, local anesthetic. You actually see the dude washing your eye with this swab, but you can't feel it. It looks like someone washing a window in front of you.

I don't know... I don't think so, you have to look at the little light. But they give you the option of taking this pill that makes you chillax.

Re: Laser Eye Surgery
This is freaking awesome.
They developed new contact lens that can potentially send / receive wireless signals and display images on the lens that only you can see ... to everyone else its just you. So like, you can watch a movie, work on a floating virtual PC, be immersed in a fully 3-D game, whatever.
Vision of the future seen in bionic contact lens

Re: Laser Eye Surgery
LASIK was the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. I am a mother of a 3 year old and a 1 year old and that means a lot of waking up in the middle of the night. This translated to sleeping in my contacts so that I could see what I was doing when I had to check on my kids; after 20 years, it was starting to take a toll on the health of my eyes. Dr. Wiles is so informative and has such a calm demeanor; he put me at ease even though I was nervous about the procedure. He went through all of the steps involved in the treatment so that I knew exactly what to expect. I appreciate everything he has done to make my vision what it is today. I can now see 20/20 with no help."

Welcome to Islamica,
No spam allowed on Islamica, buuuuut, since this is a thread on laser eye surgery, and you've worded it like an utterly convincing story mentioning your young children... I'll allow it.
I also like the use of the quotation marks at the end. It tells me that you wrote it all by yourself, and didn't copy and paste it from advertised testimonials.
Enjoy your stay.

Re: Laser Eye Surgery
i have horrible vision .im basicly blind without my glasses and im so lazy when i wear my contacts that sometimes i reason with myself that a little 20 min nap won't hurt with them on .I hate when i do that cuz i wake up with them stuck on my eyes .
i've been wanting to get the surgery done but my brother said some1 told him that ur night vision gets really messed up after the surgery so that kinda freaked me out but i still want it!
unfortunately the hormonal changes from breastfeeding affects the eyesight so im goona have to wait until my baby is done.
