Coffee is pretty easy to make without a coffee maker. It's actually easier than with a coffee maker

ok so i won this coffee set from work and it had this cute little mini grater to grate cinnamon into it. I thought i would get a nice decent coffee out of it. Two words:

coconut mucus.

i love starbucks peppermint mocha! i've been trying to find a way to make it at home... i found this recipe but i have a question.. a stupid question probably.. what form do they sell espresso in? can i get it at the grocery store? do i need an espresso machine or something? thanks!

Ingredients:
2 tablespoons mocha powder
2 tablespoons peppermint syrup
A shot of espresso
12 ounces of heated milk
Whipped cream
Sugar sprinkles

Procedure:
Melt the mocha powder in a small amount of hot water – just enough to make a thick syrup. Pour this mixture into your cup – at least 12 ounces – and then add the espresso and peppermint syrup. Then pour the heated milk – steamed milk would be great, too. Top this off with whipped cream and the sugar sprinkles.

so I went to Starbucks recently and asked for a gingerbread latte and asked how much longer it would be around and the girl said they'll always be there because it's so popular. maybe she was new and didn't know what she was talking about, but if it's true, gingerbread lattes all year round??

hazelnuts are an amazing thing. because they go with chocolate AND coffee. and the 3 together are magic. i just don't understand.

i'm having my favorite hazelnut coffee (eight o'clock coffee? i think that's the brand). just cream, no sugar. it would be just as well without the cream, but it's heavenly in just about any form.

and i really can't taste the bitter in coffee that i make anymore. maybe i've gotten better at it. or maybe i've just gotten past it.

To make real Espresso you need the machine.

espresso scares me. more than once i've ordered it, and the fact that it comes in a tiny cup for some reason intimidates me. waay too strong.

ahhhhh! i figured it out!!! remember how i said i was a coffee wimp? well, i am. but i figured something out that needs to become public knowledge, asap.

darker roasts have less caffeine than lighter roasts! "?!"

maybe i'm the only one this is news to, but that hit me hard. because i've always thought the opposite, and have always bought lighter roasts. and this makes my coffee life difficult, because my absolute favorite is still hazelnut, and i doubt they have it in dark roasted form

i promise i don't drink coffee often, but yesterday, when my professor walked into class with a mug of hazelnut coffee, i had this urge to run off with it while he wasn't looking. i've never had an addict mindset when it comes to coffee being around me, but apparently, now i do.

No kidding. I thought it was the opposite too, which is why I bought the dark roast coffee.
