when i was in elementary school, a muslim girl told me skittles were haraam. i was eating skittles at the moment. all i wanted to do at that moment was punch the living crap out of her.
wth. couldnt she have waited till i finished the freakin bag.

There is a difference between the English word "alcohol" and the arabiy word "khamr".
People just see the word alcohol and start screaming bloody murder.

If there is a little bit of haram..its ok. Even Islamic banking has some "haram" elements in it but the halal outweighs the haram.
