Br. Ibn got it right..it werent for us, all the dentists would be jobless..and it wasnt for the dentists I would be endenlous..hahahah imagine me .

one thing it amazes me is that eventhough there are dentists who sincerely give advice to their patients on how to maintain good oral hygiene and really wouldnt want them to suffer more from pain etc and avoid the frequent dentists visit...the facinating thing is, ..they still get more and more patients coming in...so is it the patients who dont follow up the advice or the dentists giving the wrong advice..

My dentist is in Tijuana, BC, Mexico he's a cool cat though...charges me a third of what I'd normally pay in the US. Well worth the trip! I go once or twice a year to get all my major stuff done.

I LOVE going to my dentist.

The staff is great, he's great and I'm so obsessed with my teeth and he's so patient with me, so it's great. Lol. I want to know what's going on every step of the way, so he'll stop what he's doing to either hand me the mirror or take pictures for me. I have crappy teeth, so I get a cavity or two every other visit, but they are no biggie. Visit the dentist twice a year and in between if any problems arise- you'll be a happy camper. The needle doesn't even hurt. I would get three or four just because I don't want to feel even the slightest bit of pain [I have sensitive teeth], so of course two days later, my mouth is still numb.

Oh oh, but I am teething, my bottom left wisdom tooth is growing in. Ehhhhhhhhhhhhh, I am not eager to have it, or the other three removed- that's just too much for me to handle. I unfortunately don't have room for any of the four, so hopefully they'll stay [what was the word he used meaning that they won't come through?] or they will and I'll have to have them removed. Crap.

I used to hate going to the dentist, but now I don't mind. It's not too bad. Just gotta bear it. It's like an hour tops, twice a year. You can do it! For healthy teeth and gums.

an oral surgeon can put you under general anesthesia and extract them. you won't remember anything.

thats how i had mine extracted as well through gA. I gave the same advise to my sister...but alas she didnt follow up on it..so she had hers done with local anasthetic..and boooooooo she has nightmares to this day!!!

I dind't know where to put this..

but anyway, i'm suffering from some wicked toothache, i think I know what the source is, however I don't have any insurance so going to a dentist is not an option for me.

What are my options?
