been meaning to try molten lava cake... found this recipe.. will let you know how it turns out insha'allah

6 (1-ounce) squares bittersweet chocolate
2 (1-ounce) squares semisweet chocolate
10 tablespoons (1 1/4 stick) butter
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
3 large eggs
3 egg yolks
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons orange liqueur

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

Grease 6 (6-ounce) custard cups. Melt the chocolates and butter in the microwave, or in a double boiler. Add the flour and sugar to chocolate mixture. Stir in the eggs and yolks until smooth. Stir in the vanilla and orange liqueur. Divide the batter evenly among the custard cups. Place in the oven and bake for 14 minutes. The edges should be firm but the center will be runny. Run a knife around the edges to loosen and invert onto dessert plates.

Has anyone tried making rice krispies treats with marshmallow fluff spread? I believe there is no gelatin in it.

I have Aida. It's definitely not as marshmallowie deliciousness as using actual marshmallows but it suffices.

i prefer marshmallow cream. if you can find a brand called "jet" or "jet puff" go with it; they make marshmallows too, and they taste like the same exact thing. in fact, i believe they are the same thing except for form. cream is easier to measure, melt, mix (in my eyes). and no gelatin

I watch that show all the time

Love their creativity and I'm guessing its because of it that the cakes might seem sloppy But they do make elegant style cakes.....did you check out their website?

You're right about overpricing, but what's messed up is that you've to practically reserve a spot months before the actual event! And no waiting list!

Duff and crew make it look so simple and they're always having a good time....I think you mean Geoff (sp?).....his bluntness and sarcasm is hilarious!

Oh CP makes some really pretty cakes....I love watching her on the Food Network Challenge!

There are 3 more I like, but I can't remember their names
