i used the brownie recipe portion of the reese's brownie bottomed cheesecake recipe on hersheys website... and threw in the peanut butter chips i had. then i made the glaze with the following:
1 cup confectioners sugar
3 tablespoons boiling water
2 oz. unsweetened/bittersweet chocolate
2 tablespoons butter
melt chocolate and butter, mix in water and sugar.
i also set out powdered sugar and whipped cream as toppings... they didnt last very long... people devoured em

make sure to refrigerate them after forming them into balls! otherwise you'll end up with a gooey cakey mess in your dipping chocolate.

-bake your cake all the way!!...i didn't so i had to through half of my cake out.
-refrigerate them after making into balls, i did overnite cuz well i started making them at 10pm so i was tired.
-i liked cream chese frosting the best, but i also used milk chocolate frosting.
-for dipping i inserted the toothpick into the balls and dipped in the dippings.
-after dipping them, i refridgerated it for 10 mins.
-milk chocolate dipping was the best.

if you use actual cream cheese instead of the cream cheese frosting (farah's idea) they taste better b/c they are not as sweet.

Re: The Art of Baking
So I made some Soft n Chewy Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies this morning. I am not a big fan of peanut butter so I was a bit hesitant on making the cookies but then I saw that the recipe only required 1/2 c. of peanut butter- not too much. So I ended up making them anyway and I LOVE them [even the uncooked batter tasted good ]. They really are so soft n chewy chocolateness with a hint of peanut butter. I guess if one really likes peanut butter they can add a bit more but I think the 1/2 c. is perfectly enough.
I did read the comments left by others on that site-- yes the dough is extremely thick but my hand mixer was able to handle it with no problem. I followed the directions, start off slow for two mins then go to med for another two mins. To get all the dough off the spinners I put it on high and it all came off. The dough was also so easy to form into balls. I don't know why these people had trouble.
Will be making these again.
