Re: The Art of Baking
So this is the second cake I made, Angel Lush With Pineapple. It turned out sooooo good. My uncle loved it. So did the other one, I loved the strawberry preserve on it. I'll definitely be making both of these cakes again.
During the summer, when raspberries and blueberries are in season, I'll top the Angel Lush cake with them. But they are too expensive now to do it.

Ok so I finally jumped on the bandwagon and made cakeballs. I made a mocha cake with mocha icing and dipped them in white and dark chocolate

there's this one town in bangladesh in the middle of the trip from dhaka to lakshmipur called comilla and they have the best roshmolai (that's how we pronounce it) i have ever in my entire life tasted. they're famous for it. every time we'd make the trip, i would force my dad to buy several containers (frozen) so we could have it for at least a few days (however long it lasted, which was never very long). it was more of a manila/yellow orange color than white, because they used raw milk, and the milk may have been from buffalo instead of regular cows. in any case, i can say with surety that if any of you were to ever try that particular stuff, you would fall in love with it. manoman; that's one thing i really miss about visiting bangladesh.

feedback: everyone loved it, they thought i bought them from a store cuz they were so yummy.
this is what i used:
funfetti cake w/cream cheese frosting and dipped in milk and white chocolate then some rolled in coconut.
funfetti cake w/milk frosting and dipped in milk/white/dark chocolate then some rolled in coconut.
strawberry cake w/milk frosting and dipped in milk/dark/caramel &milk chocolate then some rolled in coconut.
the best one i liked was funfetti cake w/cream cheese dipped in milk chocolate.

if i'm making cake balls or something with more than just a couple servings, then i make it when we're having guests or visiting family for the weekend. that way its finished faster and i don't pig out on it too much
oh and with cookie dough and stuff, i just save the dough and make only a couple at a time, enough for one serving

I dont think I'll ever be travelling to Bangladesh, unless vacationing. My sisters bf is a bangladeshi, so maybe I could ask her
And I prefer the white rasmalai more than the other kind; I've tasted both
