German choc. with pecan & coconut frosting is my favorite. The frosting gives the cakeballs more texture.

hmmmm... i think i'll give that first one a try... cuz last time everyone thought they were way too sweet. how long do i have to leave the cream cheese out/microwave it for it to be soft enough to work with?

i'd have it at room temp and have the cake a bit cooled too so it doesnt melt too much or too fast. i havent actually used it though so farah may know better.
also, if you add semi sweet choc chips to the melted choc, it helps cut down on the sweetness. almond bark is just too sweet.

it'll be easier if you fold the cool whip into the mixture. I use one of those rubber spatulas. I looked it up, it's an 8 oz package of Philadelphia cream cheese. and for the strawberries, I just slice them and make somewhat of a flower in the middle. hehe, nothing too fancy.

You were smart to say no - what if she asked you to make it sometime? Hee

I'm in the mood to make some cakes, but it would all go to waste. There's no one around to eat

Well now you know you weren't chosen for your cheesecake!
Speaking of cheesecake, we're having people over tonight so I guess I should make some.

Now i'm trying to figure out a combination for a baby shower- was thinking funfetti cake mix with vanilla frosting and dipping them in blue and pink candy melts just hoping it tastes ok...

they're so good!! i used regular white chocolate chips, melted. i couldn't find any other white chocolate candy coating. i crumbled it while it was still hot and mixed the frosting in while it was still warm. i put it in the fridge for a while because it was too soft to hold its shape. then after i rolled them into balls, i left them in the fridge overnight. they were still too soft to dip like i did last time so i had to use a butter knife to put the white chocolate on it. worked out fine.
i'm making the german chocolate ones next!!
